NHT's IWS in-wall subwoofer system offers real bass to 27Hz and fits in a 2" x 4" wall! The secret to this phenominal accomplishment was the development of a special 12" alunimum cone woofer that features the magnet mounted "inside" of the woofer basket rather than hanging on the back of the basket. This unique geometry required we flatten the woofer cone shape and increase the dust cap diameter to stiffen the cone. The result is an in-wall subwoofer that's not an oxymoron.

The iWS subwoofer requires the NHT A1 monaural amplifier and X1 electronic crossover which are both sold separately. A single A1 amplifier can drive 2 IWS subwoofer modules in parallel.

In most installations we recommend installing 2 IWS subwoofer modules. This will assure you of ample bass as well as make the room's bass response much smoother.

Yes a 11... out of 10. Clean, clear, accurate deep bass...in the wall and out of sight! You must use the A1 and X1 for awesome performance... tell you friends to bring their seat belts!!!... their in for a ride.
