The IW2 is a 3-way in-wall speaker system. 3-way systems provide very wide dispersion, important in a speaker application that is used mostly for broad coverage in a room either for music or movies. 


The IW2 uses a 6.5”, polypropylene woofer, with two 1.25” fabric dome midrange drivers and a .75” fabric-dome tweeter mounted on a “flying bridge”. The use of multiple drivers help to improve detail, allow higher output and reduce overall distortion. All drivers are moisture resistant to protect from potential damage from humid environments.  NHT has designed its IW1, 2 and 3 in-wall speakers using a baffle that is exchangeable for any of the three models. You can easily upgrade or replace each model without ever removing the frame from the wall. 


Our in-walls are designed for easy installation and are ruggedly built to last. For new construction, use the iWB pre-construction bracket to make your life easy when installing the speaker later. The iWB also works for the iW1, iW2 and iW3.  Sold in pairs only.
